Freatmen Tie Series

The Windsor AKO Fratmen defeated the Six Nations Rebels tonight 7-6 to even the western conference semi-final series at one game each. The win for the Fratmen ended the Rebels winning streak at 42 games, dating back to July 15th, 2007. Beware the ides of July.

The Fratmen trailed 3-2 after the first period, and fell behind 5-2 before making their come back. The Fratmen defence and the strong goaltending of Brendan Stevenson kept the Rebels off the board for 36 minutes, The teams were tied 5-5 after 40 minutes of play

Leading the Fratmen was Devin Humphrey with two goals. Singles were added by Grant Sokolowski, Mike Rivait, Jeff Rivait, Brett Hickey, and Travis Boomer.

Game 3 of the series will be played in Ohsweken at the Gaylord Powless Arena on Friday evening. Game time is 8:00pm. Game 4 of the series will be played on Sunday night at Forest Glade Arena. Game time is 7:00pm
