LITG Explained….

Over the past week or so, and specifically since I introduced a few Sponsors on to the site, I have had a few inquiries about conflicts and my relationships to various organizations and / or associations. So I felt the need to explain to everyone out there just what Lacrosse Inside The Game is, who it is owned by, who pays for it, and who has a say in the direction, content, and structure of the site. Because apparently, it is not clear.

I’ll try my best to answer the LITG owner without going into too much detail or putting up Organizational Charts. Get ready for it, here it comes……..sit down now……. Me.

I am affiliated with many groups and organizations through my volunteer work in lacrosse.  However, neither I, nor my site are the property of any one group or organization.  For anyone out there that thinks, or wants to suggest that I or my site belong to, or are governed by any person or organization, you are gravely mistaken.  I adhere to the policies and responsibilities of being a volunteer but that is where it ends. Perception can sometimes be a bad thing, but be clear; I do not and cannot control perceptions.

I attempt on this site to report the positives in the game of lacrosse. I also attempt to surround myself with fantastic supportive individuals, speak to great lacrosse people, and write interesting or thought provoking articles and stories. Finally, I seek Sponsors that understand just what it is that I’m trying to do, and want to be a part of it. Anyone that does not understand what I am trying to do, please search the site and look at such things as Minor Star Of The Week, Help Us Help Kids (Player Sponsorships), and the LITG Co-Ed League. Hopefully that will show you a glimpse of the plan.

My site is for lacrosse fans young and old.  Lacrosse that is played by kids, young men and ladies, or Professionals, lacrosse played on grass, or in an arena, lacrosse played across the Provinces in Canada and in the United States.

If any person or group out there feels that they have the right to dictate what I can and cannot post, what I can and cannot do on this site; please think again. I would politely suggest that instead of utilizing your time and energy on crtiquing my content, use your efforts to do more to help out in your area.

While I am so appreciative of all of the support I continue to get, and the suggestions people have made, make no mistake….LITG is not and will not be controlled by anyone but this crazy fan of the game!

And if anyone has a problem with that…hmmmmm….how do I say this and be politically correct……tough!

Sorry for the rant, and thanks to those that understand and support.

  1. Someone must of woke the sleeping bear. Good rant.

  2. Here Here !! Dammit you make me proud….

  3. Mr. Mark

Not only am I a fan of your website, I am also a sponsor who clearly understands what you are trying to do. I am not really sure what transpired to cause your rant, however, being a business owner myself, I can only assume that jealousy and greed is involved. Unfortunately (regardless if it is intentional or not), jealousy and greed is a part of our everyday society. Very sad, but true.
I have supported your site from day one. What your site has accomplished, is outstanding. As I have been in the past, I will continue to be a supporter/sponsor of L.I.T.G.
I urge you to continue surrounding yourself with decent people so that you can follow your passion with L.I.T.G

Never Let Anyone Steal Your Dreams!

    Health, happiness & success,

    Bud Azzopardi – Pure North

  4. Good for you for standing up for all of the “little guys” out there who are constantly being bullied by bigger agencies, and associations who think they know everything.

Keep doing what you are doing. Your site is awesome!
