For Immediate Release
Whitby, ON

The Brooklin Redmen are struggling with a record of 2-9-1 and are looking for answers as the July 1 roster deadline approaches. In an effort to make a solid run for the playoffs the Redmen finalized a deal with the St. Regis Indians late last night.

The Redmen give up veteran Steve Toll and in return receive defender Troy Bonterre, the Indians first round draft pick, Frank Resatarits and future considerations. Bonterre will bring strength and determination on defence and plays pro lacrosse with the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. Resatarits, while unproven in Major Series Lacrosse, has a solid junior career behind him in St. Catharines. Resatarits is a Senior at the University at Albany and was drafted this spring to the Major Lacrosse League 22nd overall by the Washington Wizards.

The Redmen would like to thank Steve for his many years of dedication and veteran leadership and wish him all the best in his future lacrosse and personal endeavours.
