Honours Continue for Redmen Players as Training Camp Opens in One Week

The honours continue for Redmen players who play in the National Lacrosse League. Congratulations to Steve Toll named “NLL Transition Player of the Year”. Toll accounted for 38 points for his Rochester Knighthawks who finished with a league leading record of 14 wins and only two losses. He also scooped up 177 loose balls, good for third overall in the league

Good luck to Steve and his Knighthawks team mates Shawn Williams, Stephen Hoar, Mike Accursi and Bill Greer as the Rochester Knighthawks take on the Arizona Sting on May 12, 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona for the NLL Championship. The Sting feature ex-Redmen Peter Lough as their captain and Rob Blasdell in net. Redmen Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel, Ian McGough is the Head Eastern Scout for the Sting.

Training camp for the Redmen officially commences in just one week on May 14, 2007 at 7:45 pm at Iroquois Park Sports Centre.

Regular season starts on the road – May 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. and May 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with games in Akwesasne vs the St Regis Indians.

Home opener is set for Wednesday May 30, 2007 at 8:00 p.m., as the Redmen host the Six Nations Chiefs.
