 Below are the criteria and rules for how the weekly winner will be determined…..

Note: Wherever we say the word player, that can be a player or a goalie (boy or girl).

Criteria

Each weekly submission must meet at least one of the following criteria to be eligible to win:

Inspired Their Team - The player must have accomplished something that they have worked hard for (first goal, first assist, first win, caught a pass, made a nice pass, made a nice defensive play, big save, etc).

Show The Sprit of Lacrosse - The player must have demonstrated through their play or their actions, the true spirit of lacrosse. That is that they had fun, competed hard, and did their best.

Overcame A Challenge - Lastly, the player could have done something, anything, that switched the game in his / her teams favor (again a nice check, loose ball, a big save, timely goal, etc).

Process

• To be eligible to be our Minor Star of the Week, the player must be nominated by a Coach, a Parent, or anyone from another team that they played.  More weight will be given to nominations not coming from Mom or Dad. 
• Nominations must be made via email to me (gmark at lacrosseinsidethegame.com), and include the players First Name, their Lacrosse Association, Parent(s) email address or contact information, and Game Opponent. We have to have the permission of the player’s parent(s), to post the players name on our site. If the parent chooses, they can provide a picture that we will post with the announcement.
• Nominations will be accepted each Monday up until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time only.
• Winners will be posted and announced no later than noon each Tuesday, possibly earlier.
• Upon being announced an email will be sent to the Parent of the child requesting mailing address for the prize, etc.
