One of the most historic and long standing Minor lacrosse tournaments, I can remember playing in the Super Series as a kid. This weekend I will be in Hamilton and updating this all weekend long. Again this seaosn , the New Westminster Peewee Salmonbellies will be there. Great to see support for this tournament from our Western lacrosse friends. Good luck to all teams in all divisions.

Hey Marksy,
I know they are not posted yet but can you figure out what the group set up is for the Bantam division? I can’t figure it out as my K-W team plays you (for the third tourny in a row) but we don’t play any other of the same teams.
Looks to me like a group of 7 teams and therefore not likely any groups at all. I will say that I am stumped on how you would put a fair schedule together with 7 teams (of course I could probably spend some time on it and come up with something……..I think

It looks like everyone gets three games and then the top 4 advance. Can you say “Formula time”!
We blogged on this last time. Ten team format with 3 guaranteed games. Thi is one of the toughies. The semis will sort out the best of the final four. Getting to the final four is the tougher one as you have a C/D team in Oakville 2 that is raod kill for any teamthey face and that team has to run the score. Why woul dthey agree to come out?
Not sure what I was looking at, but I had it pointed out to me (thanks Ray), that there are actually 10 Bantam teams here. I guess the format is still the same, everyone plays 3 games against various teams, and the top 4 go on.
Again, not the best setup in the world, but it is what it is…..

The groupings are up and their are 5 teams in each group. The strange part is the Whitby Bantams play London who is in the other group. So Whitby only play two out of the other 4 teams within their grouping. This is a bit of a head scratcher!

Where did you get the idea that Nepean looked good? They were ahead 4-2 and lost 8-4 I would say you were out coached. Having watched most of it, I am very suprised you had four. As none of this counts for ratings what does it matter? playing for pride.
