L.I.T.G. First Co-Ed Season Draws To A Close

L.I.T.G. Co-Ed Lacrosse
Last night marked the end of the first ever season of Co-Ed Lacrosse, run by LITG.  In a real entertaining and exciting Championship game, Team White edged Team Grey, 14-13 to take bragging rights over the Winter and into next season

From almost everyone I’ve spoken to, I’ve heard that they felt the entire season was fun and competitive.  Last night was no exception to most weeks with all other games ending closely as well.  Team Black captured 3rd place over Team Gold in an 11-9 final.  Team Blue got 5th place defeating Team Green also 11-9.  And in the final game of the 2007 season Team Tan beat Team Red 12-8.

The fun will continue for one more week with the first annual banquet being held next Friday night, November 16th.  Some gag and even some (somewhat) serious awards will be handed out and it promises to be a fun night for those that attend.  Banquet starts at 7:30 – 8:00 at the Tilted Kilt in Whitby.

Congrats to everyone on a really good season, and I am hoping everyone considers playing again next season.  I know I’m looking forward to it already……

I thoroughly enjoyed playing and thanks to all my teammates on the Red team who made an old guy collecting Canada Pension welcome.
