Peterborough Lakers 2007 Mann Cup Champions

With their 12-8 win last night over the Coquitlam Adanacs in British Columbia, the Peterborough Lakers won their third Mann Cup Championship in the last four seasons.  Congratulations go out to the Lakers on yet another amazing performance. Scott Evans led the way with 4 goals, while John Grant Jr. had 3 goals and 4 assists in the win. Dan Stroup scored 3 times for Coquitlam while Curt Malawsky had 2 goals.

In the series Peterborough goalie (and one of our NLL Interviewees) Pat O’Toole broke the all time Mann Cup scoring record formerly shared by Wayne Colley and Buff McCready.  Pat broke the record by two points, setting the bar at 28 points by a goalie in all time Mann Cup games.  Congratulations also go out to Pat on that achievement.

With that the 2007 indoor lacrosse season has officially come to an end and what a summer it was, from Minor field and box lacrosse, to Junior to Major.

I will be doing a recap of the summer soon, so look out for it.

  1. Any idea where I can get the 2007 Mann Cup on DVD. I would love to have seen it but I live in Australia!
