I am very pleased to announce today that our first private company has stepped up and accepted our challenge to help young people play the great game of lacrosse. Pure North Investments has indicated their wish to sponsor a player this season. Pure North, although a company that operates Canada wide, is located in Ajax, Ontario. Therefore, the sponsorship received today will be forwarded to the West Durham Minor Lacrosse Association.
CEO of Pure North, Bud Azzopardi (a lacrosse player himself) had this to say;
“My company raises money for 30 plus charities across Canada. When I saw what the folks at Lacrosse – Inside The Game were trying to accomplish, I thought it would be a great opportunity to be able to help out some kids close to home.”
Pure North Investments now takes its place in our Wall Of Fame alongside The Durham Women’s Lacrosse League and Toronto Lightning Lacrosse.
