Last week recap?…Okay, so the first set of playoff games were a little intense to say the least. Some very near upsets for sure! I can tell you not any one team stands out from the rest! These ladies know how to play lacrosse!!
Gold and Black…what a nail biter!! If I remember correctly, Black was leading 5 – 0 at the end of the 1st period. But Gold turned it around and even though Black ran them right up to the last minutes in overtime – Gold brought it! Nice.
Red gave Grey a tough time with some really nice plays and rather annoying intercepts. Grey couldn’t catch the ball to save their lives in the first period but managed to patch things up in the 2nd. (I can say that because I was one of them lol). And Gary stopped yelling at us so that may have helped a little… lol.
White and Blue – I think I missed this game with apres game drinks in the bar… anyone have some information? I heard some intense ‘ohs’, ‘ahs’ and ‘holy somethings’… etc.
Orange and Pink…wow – tough game! Saw some great plays and well.. I’m refraining from comment because my team is facing Pink this week due to their win. Gary has had us training for days now and I think he mentioned something about finding our MIA teammate. She’s 6’4 and has a mean shot!! Go Grey Go!

The pink team would not even for a second be afraid of someone who was 6 foot 4. Come on now. Anyways, I was planning for the banquet today and don’t worry, the grey team has their “special” seats already reserved! (j/k)
