Tuesday night in front of over 2500 fans, the Peterborough Lakers took a two games to none lead in the best of seven Eastern Final. Brampton held the lead early and midway through the second period was up 9-6. The second period ended tied 9-9 and in the third Peterborough took over outlasting Brampton 16-11.

This game was one of the best games I’ve ever been to. The crowd was amazing, you couldn’t help but to dance and sing to the music. The lacrosse was super, 2 great teams with a lot of individual talent. The kids were allowed on the floor between periods, the frisbee toss produced non other than a winner from Whitby, they had the local TV station there announcing and throwing T-shirts. Why can’t we do this in Whitby?
